A comparison of the term "Treatment" in pet insurance policies.

"means any examination, consultation, advice, tests, x-rays, medication, surgery or nursing care provided by a veterinary practice or member of a professional organisation acting under their direction"

"This must be provided by a Veterinary practice and includes consultations; diagnostic tests, for example blood tests; X-rays; surgical procedures; drugs and medication prescribed; nursing and hospitalisation."

Aviva:

"Any examination, consultation, advice, tests, x-rays, medication, surgery, hospitalisation, nursing and care provided by a veterinary practice."

Homebase:
